Over this summer I went back to school. I participated in the Innovation of DuPage Business Accelerator Program, a 12-week program that provides small business owners with strategies for improvement and growth.
The summer cohort included 10 small business owners of which we worked together as we learn how to best move our businesses forward. Over the 12-weeks we were able to dive into topics such as finances, human resources, sales and marketing, strategic planning, emerging technology and government programs.
I was impressed by the amount of information provided to us by our leaders, speakers and also among my fellow classmates. This was really the perfect opportunity for us to dissect our businesses and put together a plan in order to take it to the next level. I am looking forward to bringing the new information I have learned to help my clients businesses to excel.
